Well of course you want to fight really bad, you're not in the UFC anymore.

Awesome... hope it's true.
March, June, September!... thats perfect. Why can't the UFC do that? They have these guys sit on their asses for 6 months between fights, because everything has to be a PPV. So they stack the PPV cards one by one and the next thing you know the champ isn't fighting for like 8 months. Either that or they think the champ loses draw value if he fights more frequently.
Fighters should be able to fight every three months... it's their job in short career span and they should be able to make the most of it!

Am I the only one surprised that crocop and possibly many other fighters dont even sign contracts in Japan? or is this already common knowledge
I dont think its in Fedor's best interest to fight crocop. Even if he wins against two cans in Japan, the UFC has made Crocop's stock drop and he already beat him once.
Dont get me wrong, I would love to see this fight but I dont think Fedor will accept.

I don't see Fedor/Cro Cop II going down either.. but that is okay, because I want Mirko back in the UFC as soon as possible.. He has a lot more to prove in the US than he does in Japan.

If CC beats Fedor it will be a brilliant move by Dana.

Even then, if Dana wants to brag about CC beating Fedor, he's going to have to go back on all this "Fedor sucks" bullshit. I mean, Dana White doubletalk is no new thing, but still...

This is very cool to hear him say. I think that with Cro Cop, his situation is a little different (I'm speaking mainly in regard to his verbal agreements and his amicable departure from the UFC). We have seemed to forget that the man is a politician in his native land of Croatia. I'm sure he knows how to use the politics of MMA and a great sense of negotiation in his endeavors. I think his credentials in governmental affairs aided him in both the verbal agreements and UFC temporary leave. I mean, its just a thought I have =P
As for him fighting Fedor.. We'd all love to see it! The first fight was great! But will Fedor's people accept? I'm not real sure. I would love to say "Hell yeah they'll accept!" but my gut is telling me that Fedor's management will duck this fight opportunity. They seem to favor freak-show fights more than legitimate fights that present some sort of challenge. But I guess we will wait and see, considering the fight is on the table and sittin' in front of Fedor's big ol' face. hehe
