What exactly did Forrest do to win rounds 2 and 3? Defend takedowns? It was a close fight but Tito won... It still amazes me how hardcore MMA fans can be so biased against Tito for being the most well know MMA fighter.

I get your point, though. The guy irritates me, but only because he (to use a favorite phrase) uses his mouth to write checks that his skills can't cash anymore. And like I've said before, I think he's still completely up to it, but he just doesn't care enough about it anymore. Most of the guys in the LHW division now have the skills to beat someone like him, and he just can't come to terms with that.

Tito fell out of favor with me when talked shit about Tanner after he beat the crap out of him, but other then Shamrock he hasn't talked shit about any other fighter in years.
And as far as not backing it up: I don't remember him talking shit about Liddell or Couture and those are his only losses in the last 10 years...

I have a question, strictly hypothetical:
If Ortiz finishes Machida, will there still be talk of ...
- when was the last time Tito finished anyone other than Ken Shamrock, or under 40, or whatever?
- when was the last time Tito beat someone in the top 10, top 5?
Curious.

Curious. | haters are always gonna hate..that's just the way it is. I'm actually giving Tito a good chance to win this fight. I dont think Machida can stop his takedowns and I also dont think he can sub Tito either regardless of whether he's a blackbelt in bjj. It doesnt really matter either way whether or not Tito wins or loses because he's leaving the UFC. The top LHW competiton is in the UFC, so obviously Tito doesnt really give a damn ab fighting anymore.

not very smart...tito is a wrestler, and silva has never gone for a takedown before in his ufc career.

Curious. | The talk right now should be, when has someone with the a last name other then Liddell or Couture beaten him.
Oh yea, a long long time.
