big hogg is on a distinguished road

Default Met Matt hughes this weekend.

Warrior fighting challenge did a show in Somerset KY this past saturday with matt as the special Guest referee. He did Autographs and was pretty cool talked to us for about ten minutes Ive always heard he was arrogant but it didnt seem that way. A Guy i train with was fighting and hughes can back in the locker room and gave a little talk he said he will destroy penn. I have always liked penn but meeting matt was pretty cool and i really dont care who wins.

Before the show i wondered why hughes would travel 400 miles to do a small show but man this guy made a mint selling his gear and posters I heard from some of the guys from warrior with matts cut of the show and product sales he cleared thiry G thats pretty awsome for four hours work.

Rich franklin and chris leban will be here in NOV. and in OCT Tim silvia will be in LEX KY which is about a hour away.

the IFL had this meet and greet in chicago in july and i got to meet pat miletich, bas rutten, maurice smith, carlos newton and renzo gracie. arlovski even showed up and i met him as well. all really cool people. i talked to maurice for like 10 minutes and got autographs/pictures with most of them. i just wish more fighters did it more often, but i understand with training and all

I was really surprised by how Matt looked on the TUF show. It's not uncommon for Matt to come to Iowa shows and I've never seen him be anything but friendly to the fans, and always working his butt off. Hell, at one show about a year and a half ago, I was hanging around after the show talking with Jeremy Horn and I look over and Matts breaking down folding chairs for crying out loud.

That seems to be a bit of a stretch. Even if he sold a T-shirt a minute at $20 a pop, it would only come out to be $5,000. I don't think these small organizations have the sort of profit margin to hand out $25,000 to anyone. My guess is that someone got their facts mixed up on that one.

I've never met Chris so can't comment on him. You're going to like Rich, super nice guy. Tim....not so friendly, but he will sign autographs and take pictures with people. Also with Tim, if they have him come into the ring and speak at some point and he's carrying something, get ready. He likes to toss T-shirts out to the audience.
