I just realized how much older and how much ring rust he's gonna have when he fights (assuming it Fedor). Man he really shoulda just stuck with his contract and stayed active and hoped the Fedor fight would happen after his contract was up. He could have fought once already and have the last fight on his contract within the next couple months and would have been able to fight Fedor sooner. Is Randy afraid of getting exposed or something before he makes it to Fedor?

Agree completely. Noguiera-Couture would be an AWESOME fight. Randy is just too zoned in on what he feels is his path. And that is to fight Fedor. Sucks for us but if the fight does happen he better make it worth all this hahaha.

I honestly don't think Randy can beat Nog. That being the case he can't have the fight. Silva and the other guy were nothing compared to Nog.

that's all up to randy, but we won't be seeing Randy fight in the Octagon any time soon because like i've said time and time again, he is afraid of Big Nog. Randy dont want none of Big Nog! Randy's probably thinking:

"i better duck big nog becasue if i fight him, im going to get my ass choked out and lose the chance of fighting fedor, but if I hold out for Fedor and wind up losing, at least I can say that I lost to the number one guy and i can call myself the number 2 man."

fuck randy couture. i've washed my hands of him at this point. He is setting a horrible example for young mixed martial artists. When you are the Champ, YOU DEFEND YOUR TITLE. If he refuses the fight with big nog AGAIN, then he's nothing but a lousy disgrace imo.

I dont give a crap about the tension b/t randy and zuffa. if randy has that big of a problem with zuffa, he should honor his contract so he can be let go. it's not like he would keep the title anyway because we all know big nog would either choke him the fuck out or rip one of his arms off

I think Nog takes it (if they fought), but Randy impressed me with his last two fights. He manhandled poopy pants and did well controlling the bigger GG and took some powerful shots. The situation is beyond ridiculous now. We have Fedor fighting near-amateurs and Randy unwilling or unable to take any fights available. Has it passed over from pathetic to comedic or is it the reverse at this point?

It would be cool if for just once Dana would swallow a little pride and give a little instead of just taking by setting it that if Randy takes the fight against Big Nog AND wins then Dana would be willing to set up the fight against Fedor. Its a win-win for everyone involved except Danas pride, I highly doubt he would do it, but it would be pretty sweet and really motivate Randy to go all out against Nog.

At this point, Randy should man the fuck up. Nog just finished Tim Sylvia who Randy couldn't even finish when Tim had a bad back. I think Nog would sub Randy within the first 2 minutes after the fight hit the ground.

it has nothing to do with "dana's pride." WTF are you even talking about? It has to do with Fedor's crazy ass management team making ridiculous and outrageous demands in return for them letting fedor fight in the ufc, NOT "Dana's pride." I'm not trying to be mean, but when you say that "Dana's pride" is what's preventing the couture/fedor fight from happening, it makes you sound like a dumb ass. You have to look at the BIG picture. It's business, NOT "Dana's pride."
