Dana's personality adds more drama than necessary. For all I know he went to take a leak. This is a non-story in my view.

Im just glad AA is being a true professional through all this and I really hope he doesnt resort to the Dana mudslinging competition. Dana White has the media machine in has back pocket so AA should just ride it out or he'll be the subject of Dana's next hour long spike tv special titled " I challanged AA and he pussied out too"

Theres a post fight interview up on UFC.com...
So if he never got one how'd it end up there?
Also the Dana bashing is getting a little ridiculous, every day the same guys continue to talk shit. I'm pretty sure he doesn't control or isn't involved in every single aspect of the promotion. Also why would they put a fighter who isn't planning on signing with them on a PPV? To me that makes no sense,

He is way better than being shoved into unaired fights. You think that's the respect a former Heavy Weight Champion (dominating one for that matter) of AA's caliber deserves? Dana is a bitch, pure and simple.

I think Dana as part owner of a HUGE company, should behave more professionally. Dana get's butt hurt everytime a fighter WHOM DANA made popular decides to ask for more than what Dana is willing to spend.
It's a business "DANA"... I'm sure Dana wants more PPV sales because his business will put more money in his pocket
It's a business for "FIGHTERS" too... More PPV, they want more money....
it's not the 90's, its 2008... and the sport has attracted more money and mainstream.

No logic or intelligence for that matter to your argument. As a longtime poster here recently said to me ... people love to hate Dana and the UFC just like they love to hate the Yankees.
If AA isn't going to re-sign, then why give him exposure to bolster the next organization he'll be fighting for?? I don't expect you to understand this...just stick with your 'dana's a bitch pure and simple because me and my 13 year old friends said so' angle.

You mean like all the clips of him that are out there already? He desevered to have his fight aired. 13-year-old friends angle? Really? 1000s posts and that is what you resort to? Well I guess I could do it to then. Maybe you should get out of your mother's basement, seems like all that masturbating is getting to you. And I'm assuming that all that jerking off is to Dana, because you really have his nuts in your mouth if you think AA is an off-air quality fighter. Some of the Dana bashing is undeserved, but if you can't see that the AA fight should have been live, then you've wacked yourself blind.

I said why would it make sense for a BUSINESS to promote a fighter who is leaving the organization???
It would make zero BUSINESS sense to do that, you would be setting a fighter up perfectly for their next job. Please read my post before talking shit.

Some of the Dana bashing is undeserved, but if you can't see that the AA fight should have been live, then you've wacked yourself blind. | I watched the fight -- it sucked. A bunch of weak lay and pray followed by one full mount with baby punches because Arlovski didn't want to damage a guy who was recuperating from surgery. (A classy move on his part--but still a lackluster fight) Even if he weren't on the last fight of his contract and hadn't re-signed, the Koscheck fight they did air was much better.
And anyone who ends a post with "pure and simple" is announcing to the world that they have a closed mind and very myopic view.
As per my mother's basement comment....lol. I'll buy and sell you and your mother 1000 times over but thats neither here nor there, so lets leave family out of it junior.
Yes, if AA had had a spectacular performance for millions of people to see and then showed up in ads for ELite XC, for example, he could have seriously bolstered their next event's viewership, as well as Showtime's subscription rates. So yea, its generally a very smart business move to deny your competition any free advertising or competitive advantage, especially in the "what have you done for me lately" world of MMA.
