Thus far, talking sh*t before a Silva fight is like taking out a hit on yourself. The only thing Franklin has done in his fights vs. Silva was stay respectful and not talk garbage....and he still got his nose broke twice for his troubles. Damn.....

I agree. Hughes may be smarter than we give him credit for. He realizes that his stock is falling as a fighter. He knows that needs to create bad blood by talking crap about top-tier fighters and create a match-up that we would pay to see, ala Tito. I know that I would buy the pay-per-view for the opportunity to see Silva or Henderson whoop his ass.

What is Hughes walking weight? I think he could fight at 185 no problem although it would be a pretty bad night for him if he fought Anderson.
