i would love for that fight to happen, chuck would get ktfo by cro cop and then dana would come back to his sences and re make the silva. vs. liddell match and realize that the same thing will happen to liddell that happened to wand. and fedor would waste the hell out of chuck.

Bottom line...if Chuck wants to fight Mirko, he must not value life too much. Chuck is a good striker, but he is an EXCELLENT counter-puncher. That's where he truly excels, but the problem here is Mirko doesn't make mistakes. And if he does, by that point in the fight Chuck would already be gassed. Chuck throws wide looping punches much like Silva, and we all saw what happened to Silva.

He may not be the best in the world but he will fight anyone. Then again you never know he might be the best in the world we just won't know til he fights better strikers. But beleive me he is game. | i think that if chuck was in a 205 tourney with all the top guys from all the top org's chuck would have just as good a chance as the others, problem is their's no top 205 guys in the ufc, and his tour of pride was not exactly a great success, imo, his too proly.

I think the UFC has a decent LHW division but it is very noticeably missing solid standup fighters. Babalu,Ortiz would have limited success in pride. Renato's submission game would win him some fights same for Ortiz' GnP. I think Chuck today is much different from Chuck three years ago but against stronger stand-up fighters i think Chuck relies on the counter punch/ KO too much. He would still be more successful than he was three years ago IMO.
