I just got done watchin the long ass Pulver vs Penn fight (I miss the ol days of the UFC) who do you all think really won this?

i remember this fight pretty well. It wasn't controversial at all. I would have called it a draw, but Jens won for sure.

Jens was saved by the bell in one of those rounds(I think the 2nd it's been awhile).Penn just had a bad gameplan.he made the same mistake against Pulver that Dennis Hallman made.He underestimated Pulvers ground game and contiually pulled guard.Penn had the better stand up and should've just tried to throw leather.Pulver definately earned the decision he had dominant position most of the fight and landed more strikes ,plus he was the champ.In order to beat the champ-you have to really beat the champ.

Pulvers standup is better then Penns, but Penns is just a damn good striker but Pulver should of had the edge standing and did show it in the fight

well hes good enough to do so, I think overall Pulver has the better standup considering his boxing resume and what hes done in MMA so far

It was close, but based on the juding criteria in your other thread, I'd give it to Pulver.
