| Matt Hughes UFC Middleweight Champ?
So what happens if and when matt Hughes beats Bj Penn, then goes on and beats GSP? Now I'm not saying that it's going to happen. I'm not comming out and chanting "MAtt, Matt....." but there is a good possibility that it will happen. So at that point in his carrear, when he is still in his early to mid thirties. Does Matt Hughes give the Middleweight division a test? It wouldn't be too much of a streach for him, but just enough to keep him hungery.

I think it would depend on where Rich stood in th edivision. If Rich is champ i don't see matt stepping up. anyone else and it could be a possibility.

IF, and this is a big IF, Hughes gets by Penn and St. Pierre, and Franklin is still the champ at the time, I would love to these these two put their friendship aside for a night and go at it. I think it would be a great fight.

If Tanner would've beat Rich than Tanner and Hughes would've been the coaches for TUF2 and at the end of the show they said that Hughes would go up to MW to fight Tanner ,but that never happend.Hughes fighting at MW is a possiblity though.

Some of those MFS guys don't care though. They just like to fight. Like Jens Pulver. He already said he would fight Spencer Fisher if it came down to it.

why Pulver would wanna embarass his friend though is another story cuz Fisher would get beat bad, I honestly dont think Fisher is a bad fighter.. but overrated.
