I think Houston is an awesome fighter, but I got a feeling Irvins gonna make a highlight reel out of him. If Irvin gets in trouble standing I think hes got more places to take the fight. | No way. Irvin's gonna want to bang, and he's going to come out on the short end.

Not even basic scramble, bucking, rolling, NADA.
I disagree on Irvin making a highlight reel of him tho. Irvin's better than Sakara but Irvin's no Thiago. We should have a little better understanding where Houston sits in the LHW division.
Any guesses as to what Irvin's gameplan is? |

If they both stand, it's gonna be one for the ages. Houston will get the KO over Irvin but not until he takes a few solid shots to the chin. It's almost a guarenteed slugfest. Kind of like Leben/Sakara but with bigger guys and probably a very flush standing KO.

I think houston learned his lesson against thiago...
if he works hard he could develop a good sprawl...(which is what houston didn't do against thiago...he just grabbed thiago's head and didn't even attempt to push it off)
he also could make people pay for coming inside with those heavy hands and knees...
he also needs to at least train a little bit more in his bjj...
anyways i got houston by tko 1st rd by knee.

I'm gonna keep my mouth sealed on Alexanders ground game until we actually see him have a go at it in a fight aside from his previous one, but like others have said, this up and coming fight will probably be a slugfest and will be one hell of a beat down at that. Here's hoping Alexander scores another rocket launcher KO. |

I think this fight is perfect for HA but if he doesnt learn some ground skills he will have a very hard time against other guys in the division. Oh and Houston watch out for that flying knee, ya know Irvin is gonna try one.
