That makes no sense to fight one of the best fighters in the business as your first fight. No one does that...you get warm up fights. I find it strange that people would expect him to take on such a suicidal task like that so quickly.
I also don't get all the hate people are throwing his way. If he hadn't done anything in the WWE and all we saw was this monster of a kid that was training with the Gracies and getting his stand up from some other camp (who is training him?) and...oh yeah... So what if he was in the WWE? He made his millions and now wants to challenge himself in a new area. People are so blinded by their hatred of everything wrestling that they fail to see this guy is trying to do it legitimately.
I hope he starts slow and works his way up and becomes a champion, if for no other reason to show that the world is not going to crack in half because a former WWE wrestler is actually good as something else in his life.
