I don't hate Fedor, but I hate this. Seriously, who the hell is he going to fight? Kimbo? Antonio Silva? Ricco? Silva again? Please...

The only way that Fedor fighting for Elite would retain any legitimacy is if they were able to sign a couple of hot free agents...Barnett, Sergei, etc.

I know this rant has been done to death, but I'm sick of it all...bottom line, aside from maybe Barnett, the only true tests for Fedor are in the UFC.

What is beyond ridiculous about a fighter getting a contract offer? Or is it a concern that he isn't dealing with the UFC?

I think they would...it has the opportunity to increase his recognition factor with the general public and the casual fan, thus increasing his value. And EXC has deep enough pockets to get some good matchups: even if his managment is unwilling to put him in with a top 10 contender, they can market someone on the fringe as a great fighter, even if they wouldn't pose a genuine threat [read: Ben Rothwell, second or third fight if he accepts] and pump him up even more. And if Randygate ever gets resolved, they have a big payday set up.

The only real wrench I see would be DREAM fielding a counter offer that is more attractive.

thanks for the chuckle dude, fedor a half way decent fighter, why underrate kimbo, he's looking good. i guess exc is better than nothing, if they can get fedor, they're org will really take off, fighters will join exc just for the opp to fight fedor. (fingers crossed)

That's what makes this interesting. IF they get Fedor I'll go out on a limb and say they WILL get Couture but it wont be for atleast another year.

If Fedor signs with Elite then Couture will either continue to fight his contact and win, or he'll lose and wait it out. Either way he ends up in Elite and gives them a serious boost in respectability to the casual fan.

I would prefer him to fight in the UFC but I hope he signs the deal and fights Ricco. IMO I think Ricco will beat him up.

So tired of the will he, won't he Fedor BS. I have nothing against Fedor, I just want all this management BS and M1 crap to resolve itself. I just want to see him fight somebody with a better then 50/50 shot at giving him a challenge.
I could care less where or under what org he does it.
