i dont think diaz could cut to 155 hes 6' and is skinny for 170 theres not much left to cut.

Maybe they'll give Nick's younger brother Nathan a shot someday. He fights at 155 I believe. I saw his last fight in WEC, he looked pretty good.

Ya I don't think it is possible for him to cut down..he's already skinny...it would be nice to see, really make it interesting

I am really excited for the leightweight division..it is really shaping up to be a great division...lots of exciting fighters and fights that could be lined up int he future...but here is somehting to ponder...could a leightweight fight higlight a card...could a lieghtweight title fight be the main fight

with time yes.as soon as someone establishes themself as being very dominant in the lw division-like hughes with WW or Liddell with LHW etc. than i think it could happen.

I haven't seen a lot of the LW lately, but from what I have seen, I like Stout's chances

I love the way this division is shaping up.

I have to say that I'm a bit suprised that they're giving Sherk a title shot at 155 when he hasn't really faced someone at that weight class. Yes he beat Nick Diaz, however, he still has to cut another 15lbs before he can compete at 155. I'm curious to see whether or not he can do this without killing himself. He's HUGE for 170 due to his muscle mass. Cutting to 155 could be a challenge for him. Then its a question of whether he can hang with these super fast guys.

I'm not doubting him, I'm just saying that he should have at least one match at 155 before they put him right at the top of the food chain.

This division will be extremely deep in talent

Yves Edwards
Spencer Fischer
Mark Hominick
Sam Stout
Kenflo
BJ Penn (should he decide he wants to be serious)
Joe Stevenson (same comment as Penn)
Josh Neer (should he decide to drop)
Melvin Guilard (he is definitely the future of this division)

Some of the guys I would LOVE to see them bring in:

Faber (he is a bad man and could own this division)
Bang Ludwig
Jens Pulver
Genki Sudo

I really hope UFC stays serious about this. They would be stupid not to.

I am really looking forward to this division..the guys are so explosive and fast...the fights are going to be amazing..I can't wait...I am going for stout all the way
