|  Good ole JR talk Angle
The talk of the internet and out of Kurt Angle’s camp is that Kurt is entertaining thoughts of getting into the UFC-like competition as promoters from around the globe are clamoring for the former Olympic Gold Medal winners services. From a promoter’s point of view, there is no doubt that the curiosity factor in signing Angle to fight would be potentially huge. How many Olympic Gold Medalists have stepped into this particular arena? I mentioned many weeks ago that some promoter would try and hook up the two former WWE stars Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar which is a lay-up. It doesn’t take a Vince McMahon or a Vince McMahon wannabe long to figure that one out. My two cents on this matter is that Kurt should stay as far away from the mixed martial arts world as possible. Yes, there is huge money to be made for a few fights but at what cost? I say the potential risk facing Kurt is too great to even think of traveling down this road. I am not condemning the promoters of this genre as they are in the business of making money and most defiantly Kurt Angle in the MMA world is money but is the risk of permanent injury worth the cash? Not where I sit.
YA im sure Jim Ross was really that concerned when Kurt was wrestling 200 + nights a year.

In my opinion, MMA is a lot safer than Pro wrestling. Have you ever felt a Pro wrestling ring? It feels like concrete with a thin blanket over it. Imagine having to fall on that about 290 days a year. I know they learn how to land and all that but they still feel pain. And in MMA they have a ref who actually cares about whether or not about the fighters safety. In wrestling, the wrestler has to be hurt for him to get any kind of compasion. But to the point. I think Kurt Angle would do alright in MMA. But I don't believe he has the potiental of let's say Brock Lesnar. The reason being, I don't see Kurt as having any kind of power behind his strikes and he's be a LnP kind of guy until he could learn some submissions.

IN my opinion all threads referring to or having anything remotely related to pro wrestling should immediately be deleted.
Pro wrestling fake - mma real
Pro wrestling actors - mma athletes
Unless the thread is in off topic and is saying how bad all pro wrestlers would get beaten savagely in mma all wreslting posts should be deleted.

Dude we have 3 threads on this D!ck and he isn't even in any MMA org....This Sucks that the MMA talk is about WWE crap and not real fighters. Hell I would rather have a hundred threads on Baroni rather than this Junk this is a MMA Forum about MMA fighters not Speculative WWE fighters. They should not get more attention.

kurt HAS permanent injuries and they're from pro wrestling, NOT mma. look at all the people in pro wrestling that have been permanently injured. foley has half an ear, droz is paralyzed, chris nowinski suffers from random blackouts because of a head injury, owen hart is dead, and the list goes on forever. since the inception of the UFC there hasn't been a death or serious injury in the sport and i only say since UFC b/c i don't know for sure about before it. going through tables and taking chair shots to the head on an almost daily basis is a lot worse than taking a few punches to the head.

Athletes compete for pride, money, honor, etc.
Hell wesley snipes is athletic but he is by no means an athlete.
Wrestlers are athletic but not athletes. they are actors much the same as wesley snipes or any other number of athletic actors.

Kurt angle 10 years ago would be perfect for MMA. But at 38 years old, he is already out of his prime before he even gets a chance to show he can fight in MMA. How the hell is he going to learn JuJitsu, Boxing, Muah Thai, Judo, or anything else he would NEED TO LEARN before he can step in the ring in a short amount of time? HE CAN'T!!!!! It takes more than 2 years to become world class and compete with BJJ black belts or great strikers like arlovski and Tim Silvia.
