apparently Danni almost won the fight...had that of happened, Gurgel could have never showed his face ever again LOL!

does danny know how much of a joke he is? he's gotta know he's terrible, doesn't he? and as far as gurgel, he doesn't look like he fights competitively. against hominick he looked like he was just having fun and didn't care about winning, which he could have done if he just competed in that match.

im not impressed with Gurgel. he should just stick to training Rich and not fighting because when it comes to fighting, he just doesn't have it. Abaddi almost beat him for christ sake!

i guess everyone who says gurgel doesn't have it hasn't seen his fight against jason ireland at kotc: payback in '05. that was fight of the year kind of stuff... but since stepping up to the ufc, he just hasn't really been the same. i think the knee injury he had (during tuf) and coming off that surgery might have gotten to him.

i'm alittle over the hill, alittle outa shape and way out of practice but i honestly believe i could woop danny's ass, he just doesnt seem to have good instinct and is totally one dimensional, of coarse i'd have a hard time making his weight

I guess I'm not sure how any of you are judging Danny's abilities at all. I've seen one fight from a verrry green, very young guy. I've heard about the fight with Gurgel, but haven't seen it. Is it posted somewhere? Even with that, I repeat a very green, very young guy still.

Danny gets a lot of carp ,because he made sweet love to Matt Hamill ,but Danni's not that bad of a fighter.He's supposedly very ,very good at tai kwondo and his ground game is still green.He's not as bad as everyone makes him out to be.
On a side note I'm not overly impressed with Dani or Gurgel.IMO Gurgel is where he is right now ,because he's Franklin's boy.
