But nope, 5 rounds and you saw who the better fighter was. Yea, cardio and determination are just as important as BJJ and striking. I can't understand why people just cant accpet that Matt Hughes is the UFC's verison of Fedor.
But now for the next two months we are gonna have to hear how GSP is gonna kill Matt Hughes, yea... just like he did the first time. | I don't think GSP will take Matt never did. But I still think BJ can in there rubber match we will see if he steps up to plate.

i think hughes is amazing and i totally agree with you on everything you just said EXCEPT the GSP comment. i think gsp can take him at this point. i don't think he can kill him or just fly right through him, but i think he will win. i don't think its a lock where hughes cant win, but i just think gsp will come out on top that night. either way, it'll be a great match just like hughes/penn II

That's why they have rematches...just like Hughes got a rematch win Penn...and the outcome was different. Besides I always thought GSP was going to beat Matt the second time, after last night's performance by matt, it just solidified my belief. Matt's great, but I have said it a thousands times, he hasn't fought A competition. Trigg, Royce and Riggs are far from being Top guys.

Why would he have to fight him because he hasn't that doesn't make alot of sense or to take Diegos win streak away that will be done before he gets to Hughes.

If he beats GSP then he should go up or down and fight in a different weight class, I'd like to see that anyway.

Well, Hughes has 2-3 months to work on his standup striking....if he can improve upon that aspect of his game, he will be unstoppable.......if he isn't already now.

I'm gonna go out on the line here and say that only thing missing from Hughes legacy now is loosing to another great fighter and retiring with class a la Randy Conture. He has pretty much done everything else ;P
