Default Middleweight Heavy Card Last Night
With over half the card being MW last night where do you rank the winners in terms of getting a shot at Silva?

Franklin is gonna have to wait a while.

Bisping looked impressive but he is far from ready

Quarry looked amazing and was quite entertaining

MacDonald, I honestly haven't watched the prelim fights yet but after Okami he could be a guy who's name gets thrown around to fight Silva if he keeps winning

Maia , Same as above but a win over Ed Herman is impressive

Day, this shocked me and I'm sure Day is no where in the league of an Anderson Silva

The problem is Rich Franklin is clearly better than every other MW contender mentioned, and he's a big notch below Silva. When Henderson lost to Silva it left a huge void in the MW division to find a serious contender.

Unless Silva moves up in weight, or we see a Serra/GSP type of upset, the MW division wnt have any real competition at the top for a while.

He actually looks ripped at 185 where at 205 he was smaller than the other guys and he also looked kinda fat and nowhere close to how he looked last night. Plus his striking was definitely alot crisper than his last 2 fights. Also good to see the use of his knees on McCarthy's arms and face. I think he will be alot more explosive at 185 and I can't wait to see his next fight.

Franklin should not be allowed to fight Silva for the belt again for at least 2 years. He got rapped both times!!!!!! Although I would love a dan henderson vs Rich Franklin matchup...that has to be next.
