I can't wait for that. After that fight, the Matt Serra bandwagon will lose it's other wheel and fade back into obscurity.

What they base this info on is beyond me, but that's what they say.

Hell, we might even see him fight Kimbo one day. | Yeah when he is as old and washed up as Shamrock. Kimbo won't fight a top heavyweight or light heavyweight for a very long time. You have to pad his record first. It is the boxing thing to do.

Anyways regarding Tito.... I think it will be a tougher fight than some are making it out to be. Tito has only been submitted 1 time and that was back in 1997 against Guy Mezger who Tito later fought again and ended it via TKO. Tito also has never been KO'd cold in the cage either.
Knowing all that it kind of leads me to believe that if Lyoto does indeed win that it will most likely be via TKO(strikes) or go to a decision. Of course the "most likely" scenario does not always unfold as it should and Machida is capable of winning this fight various ways. I am picking Lyoto in this match up, but as a renown "Tito hater", I still am not counting Tito out.
Afterwards Tito will most likely leave if he loses and stay if he wins because if he wins it opens more doors for him in the division.

if i would have bet i would have bet on gsp, i wanted serra win just because gsp's bandwagon is so big there is not enough room for me
tito should retire, his fire for fighting is gone, half of his fan base is gone, he probably has enough money and still makes money from his clothing line, i do not think he will retire, he will go to elite or the new org adrenline, then he will trash talk dana white and the ufc into ground
war machida

I'd like to believe if he beats Machida, hopefully convincingly, he gets back in the mix in the LHW division and is re-signed. Any way you look at it, it's pure speculation as to where he'd go if the UFC is not an option. I'm content waiting to see how it plays out. On a side note: I'm not sure if I missed it, but I didn't see any ads Sat night for the next PPV. A card with Penn vs Sherk, Jardine vs. Wand, Tito vs. Machida ... and they didn't use that airtime to get an early jump on the hype machine. Thoughts?

I can't remember if it ran anymore but I remember seeing it at least once. I know they ran the TUF commercial after every fight.

I, for one, am suprised Dana didnt just bury Tito on the ppv like he did Arlovski. I thought Dana may put Tito up against an easy win for Tito, short and sweet, and then Tito would be out of Dana's life. IMO, this may be the biggest fight of Tito's career if he is still going to fight in the future. He has an opportunity to silence many of his critics and put the first loss on a man that alot of people on here have said should have the shot at Rampage instead of Forrest. I say IF Tito does in fact leave, he goes to EliteXC. Tito makes people money..period. They'll hype him more than anyone's hyped a fighter before and they'll pay him what he wants. I think Dana's f*cking up here. Letting personal feelings interfere with business. I know with all the Tito love on here *cough, cough*, most are happy to see him go. But what cant be argued is that Tito = $$.
