Could you possibly put any more muscle mass on a 155 pounder? My question is how long can he stay in the division? I long enough to get a shot at the title.
Man the LW division is fun as hell to watch. There are a lot of good young guys out there that offer a lot of skills and flash finishes.
I really wish that the UFC listed its top 10 or top 5 rankings. The Young Assassin has got to be a top 5'er at this point! |
I agree Melvin is a good, up and coming fighter but he isn't a top 5 fighter at LW in the world or the UFC. I can't rate him that high because he's only beaten Gabe Ruediger and Rick Davis at 155. Not exactly murderers row. He needs to beat more top opponents to deserve a top 5 ranking. I'd love to see him take on Hermes Franca or Joe Stevenson. Someone like that to help build up his resume.
His future is definitely very bright in this sport.
