Well, Skippy, I said this already but I'll say it again. I...never....stated ....that.....he.... (are you still following?) couldn't finish a fight. I stated that he is boring as hell to watch and most of his fights go to decision. All but ONE in the UFC.
Now go back to staring at shiny objects.

There were ppl that SWORE that Rashad couldnt finish a fight, and were swearing that he would never evolve, and Rashad FINISHED THIS FIGHT and thats why I made the thread because people were so hard on Rashad Evans, were bad-mouthing him for months and a lot of it was unnecessary, hes a class act and a good fighter and he was taking a lot of heat. Ya most of his fights have gone to a decision but the guys just starting out! and no one would give a break claimin that he would always be a decision fighter like Ricardo Arona is but he finished this fight despite what some people were swearing he wouldnt do.
Ok he has all but one in the UFC but HE DOESNT HAVE THAT MANY FIGHTS it takes time, he has finished 44% of his fights now.

question- do you think he would beat tito.

question- do you think he would beat tito. | Ok because he show boated? gimme a break, RAshad Evans shows nothin but respect to the guys he fights no one but Matt and the other guy had a problem with his show boating, did you see what he did after the Lambert fight? he was down on his knees seein if Lambert was ok holdin his hand and talkin to him, the guy doesnt talk any trash either.. Evans is a class act, and I dont care for an asshole like Matt Hughes opinion.. a guy who Carries ppl on his shoulders across the friggin octagon has the nerve to call someone else a showboater, Hes more then a good wrestler buddy all the boxing fans on this forum have givin him props for his boxing skills because he has good boxing skills, he has very good takedowns, he now has proven that he is capable of passing guard, so he doesnt have a good submission game.. alla sudden because Rashad Evans isnt the total package were gonna start complainin there are SOOOO MANY FIGHTERS that arent as versitile as Rashad is and Rashad isnt even complete! so why should he take all the heat for every problem that occurs in MMA?
Rashad vs Tito would be close, cuz Forrest gave Tito a fight and Rashad would run through Forrest. Tito's wrestling is quite overrated, it is good but it isnt great. Rashads wrestling is good and its only getting better, if Rashad were with Team Quest for a good while instead of the team hes with now id say that Rashad would beat Tito cuz i'd expect him to have better wrestling in that fight cuz his wrestling potential is past Tito's and Team Quest would help him reach his potential, Rashads standup is already better then Titos is.. submission game I really cant tell you, both have good submission defense (Bonnar is a sub fighter and couldnt catch Rashad in a submission and lord knows he was trying) both leave a lot to be desired in the submission game, Titos conditioning is way better so right now he'd prolly draw out a decision, right now it would probably go to Tito cuz Rashad isnt gonna finish him right away RASHAD EVANS ISNT EXPERIENCED ENOUGH TO DO SO, and Tito is very experienced.. Tito might get taken down a few times but as soon as he takes Rashad down the match might end by TKO or Tito will just win round after round. But this isnt a fight that I see Tito winning in the future, if Rashad keeps growing he will surpass Ortiz.

It's a guilty pleasure of mine to say I've been a Rashad Evans fan since TUF. I'm feeling better and better about my inexplicable urge to like the guy.
He's got that athletic quality that is the ultimate basis to build off in MMA. Technique and skills can be taught, and he's still got a long way to go. But that natural athleticism, perseverence and pressure that he exudes every match means that the sky's the limit if he gets in with the right training camp, works his ass off, and really wants it.
Give him another year, maybe even two. You'll see constant progression in this guy's ability.
