thats not a super fight at all. The superfight would be Anderson vs GSP or Anderson vs Rampage. I could see a fight with GSP eather way but Anderson would ko Rampage in the first. I m assuming Hugues walks around way too big for 155? if not that would be a good fight with BJ again I see him losing

The fight with Penn would be at 170. Penn wants to move back up. Hughes vs Silva would be a superfight. Hughes is not Henderson who made the mistake of trying to stand up even for a moment with Silva. I'm not a Hughes fan, I am a Silva fan and would love to see this fight.

Please no more Hughes/GSP fights.

I am a little confused, which is easy to do, but I had my thread up before you did, so I didn't make my comment based on anything you had said. No big deal though.

On a side note, I noticed your pic of Neer, I used to work with his cousin. He said that their dads use to make him and another cousin fight Neer, when Neer was little as his cousins are older than Neer. I thought that was interesting, just trying to make him tough I guess. He also told Neer at their last family get together that he was stupid for starting his own gym in the same town as Pat which I agree with. Neer said he still goes to Pats and rolls with guys, so no bad blood there which is good.

I took that pic at a local event. It was Neer's first fight at 155. That's some messed up parenting you describe unless it was something like wrestling. I know some kids start that really young. If not, it sounds pretty backwards imo, but would explain why he ended up a fighter, wouldn't it? As for the gym, the Quad-Cities is pretty big so maybe another gym doesn't really effect Pat's business. I grew up there, but I don't know what it's like now. You wouldn't think Pat would be THAT laid back.

No they made them box Josh. Yeah I was also surprised to hear that Pat would let him do that. Maybe they set something up that Neer gets the lesser fighters Pats gym doesn't have time for or something?

Yeah, that's Jeremy. Obviously they are friendly, but honestly, I don't know how close they are. I believe they have trained together in the past, but it can't have been too often since Fisher is in Bettendorf and Jeremy is in Des Moines. These guys seem to take it in stride though. Neer and Spencer are really tight and they fought each other in the past.

I think these two fights are hughes last. I don't think he is looking to be the champ again. I think he wants Serra and then he is done.
