He took the lose like a man and gave credit to Tim, I wish more fighters were like that. Their are times when fighters get screwed, but it usually gets lost because when it comes to big fights, the loser generally has excuses.
well said.

What part of( getting in the ring after a fighter jst won and dogging him aren't you getting???) GSP usually is a class act...that wasn't. If Hughes would've done the same thing it would've been classless too.

Sorry Scottsec, I'm not arguing with some of the other things you are saying, but on this particular point Tokyo is right on.

Matt did make the above comment in the ring right after he made the comment about BJ's conditioning. I think Rogan had asked him what was next for him.

My opinion is the old saying that two wrongs don't make a right. I didn't like what Matt said or GSPs response. Both were unnecessary. Makes me wonder how much of that crap is for brewing up interest. Personally, I hate it.

Default Gsp???

I also believe that the comment was pretty tasteless. You don't go into a ring after a fight and try to steal the moment away from someone, especially someone who you've said was one of your mentors. Of course there is going to be prefight hype, but there will be enough time for that later, he just won a tough fight, give him a little credit and don't be a dick. I'm sure GSP is the future after Matt of course, even Matt has said that, but don't try to take anything away from Matt, after all HE FINISHED BJ which is something GSP didn't do. Besides, its kind of hard to talk shit when you sound like PEPE LE PEW...

t the end of the PPV, after they showed the under card matches after Hughes won, Joe Rogan said that GSP was a very nice guy and that the comments were only his attempt to hype the fight using American salesmanship. He said GSP was very upset that Hughes was offended and sincerely apologized to Matt as soon as he saw Matt was upset.
I watched the Matt Hughes post fight interview on UFC.com and Matt said GSP was a good guy and it showed GSP and Hughes camp smiling and laughing together back stage.

I Think Wat Gsp Said Was Right On. Whether Or Not He Said To Hype The Fight Or If He Said Sorry Afterwards He Was Right On... Matt Had Trouble Taking Bj Down, As Where Gsp Had Big Takedowns On Bj All Night, Also Matt Was Dominated The First 2 Rounds Till Bj Gassed Where As Gsp Was Not Dominated Watso Ever, Also Matt Was In Big Time Danger With Bj And Gsp Was Never In Danger!! I Can See Where He Wasnt Impressed.

Also I Just Think Gsp Was Pissed That He Didnt Fight That Night And That The Crow Lost.

Gsp Is The Man And I Do Believe Come Fight Night With Hughes He Will Walk Away With The Ww Belt
