When you watch this video, from 1:10 - 130 (already after GSP said he wasn't inpressed with Hughes' performance) Matt grudgingly shook GSP's hand. After that there were words exchanged from Matt and Matt's camp vs GSP.

That in-and-of itself is not suprising or even worth a thread... BUT, shortly there after Joe Rogan said "Wow, Matt Hughes was genuinly mad, thats the maddest I've ever seen Matt Hughes. I'm sorry it wasn't caught on camera, but he was pissed."

I know, I know what Matt MIGHT have said, but do you know WHAT he actually said?

I have a Myspace account and I know Joe Rogan has one to, It's just that he has 100thousand friends. I don't know that he would answer ^^ my question. But I'll ask him if I get no reasponse from you folks

I really dont think you have to try and sell a GSP vs Hughes rematch. Espectailly like that. The match will sell itself.

what was there to be impressed about..i dont know why he would get mad..he was losing the fight..he ended up on top in rd 3..got bj in a position he couldnt defend..and he won..it wasnt a impressive preformance..gsp was just telling him how he felt in my opion..i think he was thinking damn..i can beat this guy..and he let matt know.. the gayest thing about that fight was dana saying to matt..you are incredible..ive never seen anything like you before...

That Was Pretty Funny. I Believe George Personaly Ment What He Said, But I Was Only Said On Tv To Pump The Fight. Arnt The Two Pretty Decent Friends? And I Really Thought The Dana Coments Were Tacky. I Am A Huge Matt Fan But How Many Other Times Has Dana Done That. Never That I Know Of. He Comes In And Says Good Fight And Good Job, But Never Like The Other Night. Its Not Like That Was The Best Matt Weve Ever Seen And Its For Damn Sure Not The Best Fight Weve Ever Seen.

I think what made him mad was that it was his moment in the spot light and GSP snatched it like a thief in the night LOL.

I think GSP was trying to sell the fight and or joke around with Hughes they seemed kind of friendly before GSP said that. But I also think GSP made a huge mistake. Everyone was betting that after Hughes beat Penn that he wouldn't take the next fight as serousily, cause he had already beat GSP. But now I think Hughes is gonna want to go out there and just make an example out of GSP.

I also dont see how Hughes' win wasnt impressive. The guy was getting beat for the first two rounds, then in round 3 just finished the fight. I really dont buy that rib excuse either because I havent seen any doctor say anything or Dana. Penn has never been one to be able to fight longer then 2 rounds anyway.
