One reason imay be
Principle of Recentcy
• The more recent the experience the more easily it is remembered.
Not saying it is the right thing, but a possibility as to how the judges see things.

UFC judges aren't as bad as boxing judges.

You have to admit....for every bad UFC decision there's at least half a dozen flat out boxing screwjobs. I like boxing but it's getting to be pathetic.

I've always said why don't they have old, retired fighters judge fights?
They've competed themselves and they know who's winning the round and know what to look for. I know people might complain about personal bias, but I think that fighters who have been out of the sport for at least 5 years or so and are now judging new talent they haven't fought themselves would wipe out a lot of bad decisions.

and btw the only two decisions ive been iffy about in boxing this year have been peters/toney and wright/taylor other then that its been a great year of boxing as far as judges decisions, and boxing matches is concerned.. ive actually been more Pissed off at the REfs in the UFC then I have been at the judges in boxing this year.
