| when it comes to a fight card..whats more important???
i kinda touched on this in another thread..but id like to get some outside opions since the original thread didnt have much to do with this..( original thread "where the F$@! did joe lauzon come from?") ufc has had 12 events this year already..pride has had 7...i am a mma junkie..so i cant get enough..but..imo, ufc could condense these events and could have 7 or 8 really stacked, really exciting events..as much as i love having something every month..id be more than willing to wait every 2 months for a really great card..alot of people are pleased with the last couple ufc cards..i on the other hand feel like we havnt had a great card since chuck randy 3..and before that it had been a a little while...where as pride seems to really bring it every time imo..

I Agree. I Am Also A Mma Junkie. I Would Like To See A Stacked Ppv Every Other Month. I Also Think That The Usual Undercard Matches Could Be Done On The Spike Tv During The Off Month. It Would Work Out Bc The Great Matches Will Be Ppv,and The Undercards Will Need To Be Shown Somewhere, So Why Not For Free.

I agree that we could use one every couple of months. That and I just cn't afford to buy a UFC every damn month. |

I agree 100%. I talked about this in a thread i made before. The UFC seems to have 1 great main event, an OK co-main event and then a bunch of filler. Up and comers are fine, but not when you saturate a card with them. And it seems UFC brings in random fighters and then Win or Lose, you never see them again. I think they should have 4-5 big name fights on each card and that would mean doin git eveny 2 months, which is fine by me.

I enjoy the monthly PPV's...I think the should continue with this trend, but I would like to see 1 time a year when they throw in a SUPER card.
I am alright with the product lately...1 decent PPV a month is good, I'd rather that than waiting 2-3 months in between PPV's

I'm not playing 35+ dollars for one fight. And Franklin vs. Silva isn't even worthy of being a main event.

Only costs me $10 in beer (2 pitchers) -and it's fun to watch the fights with a crowd.
Do any of you guys live close to bars/pubs that carry the UFC PPVs?
Here's the listing of some places that have it: http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=Even...tsBars&eid=206 |

Agree, the last several UFC PPV's have been pretty weak. You pay 40$ for a main event which can last anywhere between 1 minute-25 minute, they seem to be lasting shorter and shorter of late. But after a quick main event which all the hype was brought onto that fight your stuck watching TUF fighters fight against other TUF fighters. Which is weak! It seems that its all about $$$ for the ufc at the present time. But eventually fans will get sick of paying 40$ for 5 minutes of solid fighting every month. I agree throwing newer fighters on Spike until they prove themselves. Go through the past UFC's and look at the unproven fighters. It should be an honnor to fight infront of millions of people. They shouldnt just throw anyone in the ring on PPVs.
