Knowledge does not always equal a good coach.

To put it another way, have any of you dealt in the work place with someone who was advanced as a manager just because they were good at their previous job?

To be able to teach, inspire, motivate is a different skill set and not every black belt, in any martial art, is going to be a good coach.

exactly...not to mention i think whowever the tuf coach is should be a well rounded fighter..and should have alot more experience in the ufc..and we should have cast members as coaches anyway..atleast not for the next couple of years..come to think of it..i dont think the coaches should be in the same division..thats kind of a conflict of interest..
