How could I catch a suit just being a normal guy giving an opinion? I am not trainer or nothing. I just read alot. Anyway, thanks

this fight is drawing closer and closer and i cant wait!!! BJ will defeat Sherk by RNC Rd 2
as for his analysis of Tito/Machida, its a good way of looking at the fight. Tito will be stronger and i will also go out an say Tito will be in better shape then LYoto too. if anyone didnt notice, but when he fought Soko, Lyoto was sucking hard wind mid round 2. so hopefully he's better shape then that for the Tito fight. the fact that so many people are counting Tito out just shows how fighter hatred breeds ignorance.
and as for BJ and his rematches with Hughes, GSP, and a fight with Anderson...BJ would blast Hughes, beat GSP in yet another competitive scrap, and as big a fan i am i think he'd ultimately lose to Anderson...Anderson is just too big for BJ IMO. but its a fight id love to see!

Despite the people in these forums hatred for Tito, he's actually pretty respected in MMA. The only person who has a real problem with Tito is Chuck. Him and Randy haven't always seen eye to eye but they've trained together even since they fought. And Rampage regularly trains with Tito and even use to be a member of Team Punishment back in his early Pride days. | Chuck and him use to be good friends too...No matter what Chuck says today. Chuck and Tito were the Original Team Punishment. Notice their shorts Fire And Ice. Dana was their promoter before Zuffa bought UFC some crap transpired and we all know what came next.

Dana was their promoter before Zuffa bought UFC some crap transpired and we all know what came next. | That's the reason I can't stand Chuck. I remember the days that Chuck stood by Tito's side and they were in pictures together, Chuck even walked him to the ring. Then Tito has a contract dispute with Zuffa when they first buy the company and while Tito isn't under contract, Chuck says Tito's dodging him and they were never friends. That's bullshit. There's a documentary dvd talking about the Shamrock-Ortiz feud and ton's of the old photos and stuff showing Tito and Chuck looking like the best of friends.
The thing that happened was Dana used to be their manager and they were all really good friends. When Dana became the business guy and Tito began to negotiate a new deal, things went sour with him and Dana and we all know how close Dana and Chuck are. I think it was an effort on the part of those 2 to make Chuck the face of the UFC. Dana can control Chuck, he can't control Tito. I'll give Chuck credit, he whipped Tito's ass twice. He has Tito's number and if they fought again, it would probably end the same way. But I said it once, I will say it again. If you can't stand behind your favorite fighter when he loses, you don't deserve to when he wins.

I know I remember ti well. I thought it was funny how Chuck said that they were never friends and that they only trained with each other a few times because Tito would train with him because Chuck KOed him while sparing. They promoted it on the one of the Vitor Couture ppv's

That's why I respect BJ Penn so much. He stands behind his guys even when they're down. After Charuto Verissimo had a rough patch, BJ stood behind him. And even though, Charuto hasn't been significant for some time in the cage, he's still the one who trains BJ with his Jiu-Jitsu.

good interview. i personally think that machida will beat tito, if tito wouldve looked good in his last fights then i would maybe look at it different. i dont think tito is explosive anymore. his takedowns look sloppy after the first 2 mins in the fight.
i also think machidas stance and different striking will give tito fits. somebody ealier said that when machida moves in to exchange that tito will change levels and take him down. well in his recent fights he looks afraid to exchange and shoots from across the octagon, he wont be taking anybody down doing that.

if Tito is healthy he's lethal no matter what anyone says. and if he's in as good of shape as he's claiming, Machida is the one who's going to have fits.

i see tito's fight with machida going 1 of 2 ways:
tito drives him into the fence and takes him down, gnp's him to a decision OR
machida circles around tito, and anytime tito attempts to move in, Machida does one of those Karate foot sweep things ala his fight with Sam Hoger and BJ Penn, and basically just makes tito look really really bad by dancing and circling around the ring, tagging tito anytime he attempts to move inside...I hope this doesnt happen, and I am in no way counting out machida because he is a BAD DUDE, and he utilizes his karate so well in the cage/ring.
