Affliction MMA clothing line has created quite the buzz as they pulled together what could be the card of the decade. Any card with Fedor Emelianenko will draw a crowd, but the likes of Tim Sylvia, Josh Barnett and Pedro Rizzo, is sure to turn some heads, and worry other MMA orgs.

Afflication also stated that they are going to hold the fight inside the ring, as they want to stay away from the "cage" aspect of it.

They will use ring not cage...this is good for Fedor.

This is going to lean Tims way with the ring. he won't have Fedor pushing him up against the cage. Fedor also will have a little advantage in the fact that he has much more experience in the Ring.

I wonder what the rules on elbows are gonna be now. A ring really favors Fedor even more over tim.

I would not be surprised if elbows weren't allowed. I'm wondering if Fedors Management made the ring a stipulation for him to sign on for the event. I think eventually he's going to have to fight in a cage and/or have elbows allowed.

I was wondering the same thing about the ring possibly being a stipulation in Fedor's negotiations. It wouldn't surprise me.

To me, if you are going to start a new MMA org in America, you are better off to use a cage because I get the impression that the casual fans prefer the cage (and those are the fans that you need to draw in order to survive)

I am willing to accept "Card of the Month" but that's about it.
