i just heard about it a few minutes ago and just turned it on. they were just at rich franklin's gym cause one of the guys trains there. seems interesting.

That didn't look bad BUT......
Did they have to pick Fedor's team to fight against????
I hope they are marketing this in Russia because based on who I saw there the only fighter with a chance is Chael Sonnen. And if anyone fights Fedor or Alex they pretty much lose.

you can download entire episodes from that site (zipped .mov files). i watched the first one and i'm not impressed. i could do without the vanity shots of the bodog dude, the superfluous shots of the "hot bodog girls," and the entire fake backstory with the actress playing a russian and the always-annoying biff naked.
the ref in the fight was annoying and invasive, quick to halt the fight to stop the fighters from getting "tangled in the ropes." wfa-esque dark arena shots (i think the entire crowd consists of only the other 12 fighters and the bodog girls).
we'll see how the other fighters look, but wiesniewski has never impressed me and the guy who won didn't look great either. other than sonnen, the only other person i know anything about is the buzz-haired chick fighter who i've seen box either on hdnet or tuesday/friday night fights. she won, if that makes any difference.
