oh yeah, and i noticed that too. it was disgusting, and there were no articles about bj's injury. i know people are skeptiple about it, but bj is signed to the ufc for a few more fights, so the least they could do is try and stop everyone who hasnt heard about the injury from talking shit about his conditioning. hes losing a lot of respect and he is a great person/fighter.

yeah i was talking about that in another thread the other day..that was pretty lame..he's like ive never seen anything like you in my fucking life..what the hell was he talking about..i remember now..it was the thread about the arguement after the fight between gsp and hughes camp..gsp said he wasnt impressed..which i can totally see where he is coming from with that comment..and then you got dana acting like he just destroyed bj..like he completly dominated him or something..

if i were St. Pierre, i wouldn't have been impressed with Hughes performance either. GSP stood his own with BJ, and Hughes was getting tooled by BJ until Rd 3...Dana is a total idiot...just hearing him speak makes me ill sometimes!

"The stunning outcome of the main event at UFC 63 demands a third fight between welterweight champion Matt Hughes and BJ Penn. The first two battles between these MMA veterans were stirring affairs. Round one went to the better fighter. Round two was won by the better athlete. It's only natural that we get a third go-round. "

I didn't find this article biased toward Hughes at all. What part of it bugs you?
I concur. I don't believe the writer was saying Hughes won the 2nd round of the latest fight. It refers back to the title, wanting a third fight between Hughes and Penn. I see how it could be confusing. I don't feel the article was biased towards either fighter. Thought it was just mostly factual. The more skilled fighter won the first two rounds, though the better athlete won the fight. I think that is pretty accurate to what happened.

See duane ludwig not a great fighter but an exciting one none the less. there are too many to count that got blown off by the ufc let alone fans that don't fight but critique and discredit because of a loss.

just about every professional fighter is dangerous on some level until they are put in the ground. Hell I wouldn't mess with helio jsut because he's like 150 years old. that man is still dangerous in my book.
I feel the same way about the UFC. They seem to rush young guys into a title shot and then if they lose, they aren't heard from in a while. Babalu is one of my favorites and I hope that doesn't happen to him. Even though he didn't look good against CHuck, I hope they don't put him on the shelf. I think he still number 2 right now at that division.

Let's hope that doesn't happen to BJ. I don't even really like him personally but I think he is a very exciting fighter to watch. He has really good stand up his BJJ is off the charts. All his fights are worth watching. There are plenty of exciting match ups left for him so I hope he doesn't fade into the background for too long.
