Its anyone's fight between them, and I see Evan with an edge. But Forrest is a much more entertaining fighter.
but I see Evans matching up better against Chuck though.
Forrest likes to stand up and I don't see Forrest winning that battle.
Evans can stand up but he's takedowns were incredible. Evans is really quick also and if he can combine his standup with his takedown skills, I see a decent match up against Chuck.
But before anything, he needs to kick tito's ass and get used to the spotlight before he fights Chuck.

as cracked out as it sounds, does the UFC really have anyone else who can be #1 contender right now. this fight actually does make sense to me, but i agree with the concensus that throwing these guys to Chuck right now is ludicrous. id say Rashad has a slight chance against Chuck, but Forrest no way. unless Forrest has continued to train with Randy and work on his ground game, then Chuck with flattened him like a tire riding over a bed of nails. plus if Tito wins, then we will see Chuck/Tito III immediately...everyone knows this. So im not against a Forrest/Evans fight, in fact id love to see it! just making it for #1 contender is the part that doesn't sit right. my guess is Evans by TKO Rd 2 or decision...Forrest's only chance is to land a lucky punch to Rashad's sweet spot or to submit him.

No one has been able to take down Chuck recently but Evans' takedowns are better then most, so if anyone could pull it off then it would be him. But I would still pick Chuck to win that fight.

I wanna see a reason for Forrest winning this fight please
the guy isnt that talented, hes a dirty boxer with a lot of heart.. im a fan but how does he beat Evans?
P4P his standup is not better, Rashads boxing is much better then Forrests dirty boxing the only thing given Forrest an edge in the standup game is his reach advantage but then again Rashad beat down Brad Imes. Rashad has more power then Forrest has, he throws better combs as well. Rashad would take Forrest down at will too, and if Bonnar and Lambert couldnt submit Rashad I dont see Forrest doin it from his back.. and passing guard shouldnt be a problem.. Rashad wins this fight, and he should move on to fight other people before he goes on to fight Chuck, I hope he turns down a Title match like Gideon did cuz I think he knows and we all know he isnt ready for Chuck, Rashad is not in his prime and needs to be in his prime if he wants to beat Chuck.

I would say that Forrest and Rashad's boxing are about equal or fairly close. But Rashad has a huge wrestling advantage over Griffin.

Nate Quarry should have turned it down but he didn't, so i say if Rashad gets the opportunity to take it. besides whats one loss on your record to the top LHW in the world?

Have the winner of this fight face Babalu....that's what I think at least, that would really tell us where their skills are.
