Sayin someone fights dirty and calling them overated are two different things. Wandy has been and is one of the best in mma for years. Calling him overated is an insult on so many levels. Shit man if you think stomps and kicks to a downed opponent are dirty then you mustve thought EVERYONE in Pride was a dirty fighter. I can see where you may think that style is dirty but dont call the dude overated for fighting within the rules and kicking ass. Shit man Shogun was an animal with stomps...do you think he's overated too?

should be a good fight......but, yes there will be alot of kicks. my prediction is that the ugliest fighter at the end of the fight....will win.

To me Jardine is the most underrated LHW, at least on these boards. His only real loss was to Alexander, and I believe that helped him, he will never take a win for granite again.

He beat the ex-champ and the guy fighting for the belt next and if he wins against Wandy he will have beat the longest reigning champ in Pride. And it looks like if he beats Silva he has to fight Chuck again? Bullshit, he should get a title shot if he wins.

I've heard people say he has no foot work or personality and he moves like a turd or something to that effect. So when does winning fights actually start counting for something?

He has won some fights. But does that mean that I have to like him or like his style or think that he is the best thing since sliced bread? No it doesn't. IMO I just don't think he is all that. Yeah, he beat Chuck when everyone could tell that Chuck was not fighting his usual fight. He beat Forrest by landing the big shot that rocked him(not making excuses, I give all the credit in the world to Jardine for landing that shot and following it up) but I just don't think that Jardine could beat them again. He got "SMOKED" by, IMO, the most overrated fighter at that time. Like I said, if he can back those wins up by beating those guys again, then I might change my opinion(highly unlikely, but I might). I can't help it...I just don't like him or his fighting style. If he beats everyone else and becomes LHW champ for 2 years, I still won't like him or his fighting style....now if that happens I might take my overrated comments back.

There is no way he should get a title shot if Machida wins. If Machida wins, he is undefeated. Why should Jadine get a shot over him?

I say add a stipulation to this fight. If Wand wins, which he will, and if he wins by KO or TKO he gets to bring an electric razor into the octagon and shave that stupid ass beard off jardine's face, WWE STYLE!!!!!
Personality for Jardine? 2 words
Techno Viking

That would rank up there for when Sokoudjou wore the Predator mask

First off... Chuck not fighting his usual fight? Chuck stood in front of Jardine and pummeled him in the first round. Jardine weathered that storm, and came back all the more aggressive in the second and third. Shot after shot after shot wore down Chuck. He even floored Chuck in the second.

That fight showed and solidified that Jardine is one tough bastard.

And he didn't land one big shot in the Forest fight. He beat down Forest standing, then when Forest tried to recover on the ground, he pummeled him there. Watch the fight again and you will see how dangerous of a striker Jardine can be....

But let's discuss the elephant in the room. Houston demolished Jardine. Whether Jardine took him seriously or not, Houston exposed a pretty significant weakness in Jardine and that was ability to control a clinch (and a sloppy one at that). Even still... I'm under the impression, that all you people who've recently hopped off the Alexander bandwagon would still agree that Houston throws very very hard and is very very strong even if he can't take a punch or work a viable ground game...

Well Jardine took a wealth of shots before being put out, once again, he, like Wandy, is a tough bastard.

I understand the desire of many people to see Wand get back on to the winning track, and I too... would like to see Wandy win...

But... It's pretty fucking naive to completely discredit Jardine, the guy has a viable track record of being in some serious wars and coming out on top...

Give the viking a break...

IMO if Jardine got a title shot, and it was against Rampage, it would go the same as the Houston Alexander fight. Goodnight Princess.

Jardine gets no credit..i dont like the guy but its because he looks like a douche (i know its a lame reason not to like him but i bet thats one of the main reasons others dont like him) and he's kinda boring unless he's getting KO'd ha!..BUT he has beat the old champ and the new challenger sooo you gotta give him a shred of respect IMO..I hope Wandy does what Houston did but we'll see i guess. In the fairytale land i live in Wandy destroys him and finally gets a shot at RJ and "hangs him from the cage"

WAR WAND!
