I dont believe it, but Im sure Tyson could use the cash. Kimbo would definitely have the reach on him. Tyson should have hung it up after Holyfield I. We might actually see Kimbo take him down if this were to happen and the stand up went longer than a minute.

I'll be honest....I'd love to see this fight if there is a chance for it to happen. And for some crazy reason I'd probably root for Tyson....

Splandman, didn't Tyson actually retire during his last fight? No doubt he can use the money, but I really don't wanna see Iron Mike go out like this & Scottsec nailed it about the freakshow fights for Kimbo.

I call bullsh!t. This doesn't make any sense. I know this fight would be all about money but it still does nothing to legitimize Kimbo as a fighter. If it is fought under MMA rules, then Tyson wouldn't last a round. What brief training Kimbo has had, would be more than enough to beat up on a washed up boxer that has had no ground or wrestling experience at all. My understanding is that EXC was trying to promote Kimbo as a legitimite heavyweight contender. I don't think it makes sense to put together this freakshow if you want people to view Kimbo as legitimite.

Maybe I am over thinking this. Maybe they are forecasting the money to be too good to not put it together. Now that EXC will be on CBS, maybe to people that don't understand MMA, they would think beating Tyson would be an accomplishment of some sort. Maybe they are banking on the new or unknowledgable fan seeing Kimbo win and thinking he is great. Then th

I really don't think Gary Shaw would put this fight together with the aim being to make Kimbo look like a legit MMA fighter. I think this would be done solely to gain ratings and to make money. And who knows....maybe Shaw just plans on using Kimbo as a cash cow and could care less about making him seem legit.

Not to mention I'd like to see what happened if Tyson connected on someone with those little gloves.

You know something I don't understand, everyone on here has the right to post what they want. Someone says something that someone else doesn't like and it's fair game. If I defend a fighter that I like, I get neg'd for it. If I defend a fighter i like, I get criticized for it. If I say something negative towards someone else, I get neg'd for it. Why don't they just feed Kimbo a bunch more bums until he's 10-0. I just don't get it. I understand that the guy is a draw and they want to build him up first but Lesnar has less MMA experience and they gave him 2 former champs for his first 2 fights.
