Default Does UFC Management Read These Forums?

Yesterday morning when we all found out that James Irvin had been pulled from the UFC 85 event and was replaced with Luis Cane, alot of us on here said the same thing. Why not just pull Rashad from the event and save him for a worthy opponent in one of the coming up pay per views. None the less, there was the story that Luis Cane was the new opponent. Then today comes and we get the news that . . . Rashad had been pulled from the event and Cane was fighting his original opponent.

So my question is, does anyone with the organization that plans these events actually read these forums and use our input in planning anything. Could it be possible that they actually care about what us fans want? It's very interesting.

If tomorrow morning it's announced that Rashad will fight Thiago Silva at UFC 86 or 87, we will all know that we truly do have a voice that is heard.

I believe Dana White has an account on the Underground. Not sure how often he checks it out though. A lot of fighters check forums though.

If anything, I would imagine that Dana has some low budget guys he has check the UG and Sherdog forums (or maybe Joe Silva uses the forums to help put together some of the main event matchups).

The online MMA community is big so I would assume Dana likes to know what the people are thinking and I am pretty sure they've setup a few matches based on what they've read in forums.

I agree dawg, they want to know what the hardcore fans are saying and what they want as well. The best place to find the hardcore fan is places just like this.

I doubt he makes any major decisions based on what we have written here on mmanews but it would be dumb of him not to have people reading these types of forums

Dana is all about making money. A lot of hardcore fans post on forums and its in his best interest to put together fights that the fans want to see
