Great attitude, hard worker and seems to be improving with each fight. Its hard not to like Hamill. | Absolutely right. He's been nothing but respectful while Bitchping has been a total ass about that fight. You'd think the screwing happened the other way around.

i really like matt hammil the person but matt hammil the fighter needs a great deal of training before hes ready for a challenge like rampage. the way jackson has disected opponents lately and fould weaknesses has been admirable and i dont see matt improving his striking so much that he fixed his glaring weakness yet. wait till you watch his next fight and see if he keeps leaving his head down as he leans into jabs... uppercut city baby. anyway hes a tough kid and with some more work maybe someday he'll be ready to fight a champ...

Seriously, Matt seems pretty humble. What else was he supposed to say really? Seemed like he meant it to mean that it would be a HARD fight for him. I agree with most here, I think Rampage would have his way him at this point.

putting Rampage and Hamill in the same equation is just plain ignant! why the hell do interviewers ask stupid questions like that to fighters?! they like give them false hope that they're ready for a title shot when they're clearly undeserving of one. Rampage would smash Hamill within a round, WORD!!!

I like Matt Hamill, but I would much rather see him face some top contenders before he would fight Page. He is a superb wrestler, and is a three time NCAA national wrestling champion and two time world champion for freestyle wrestling. His striking has improved too and is a great inspiration for anyone with a disability. |

We haven't seen how he reacts to a true BJJ fighter when he takes them down.
