Beating Josh Haynes doesn't make you a contender, but he could be in 6 months to a year. If he faces Schafer in November then that'll be a step above Haynes. Then if he beats Schafer he should face a guy like Gouveia or Sakara. Then he should be at the same point of the card that guys like Evans and Griffin currently are at.
If he can get a few wins under his belt, then we can start to have a discussion. I think he has loads of talent but can he perform on the big stage...that's a whole nother subject.
