This is funny to me. There is another thread with what could be this same article. The thing is, Wandy said all of this same stuff in another interview.

Ask Dana if anyone can lose a fight. I doubt he will say "yeah, this guy can lose all year and still be here". To say he has to win some fight to stay there and stay at the top of the 205 lb division doesn't really seem disrespectful to me at all.

I think the fact that it was labeled "Dana issues a warning" makes it that much more dramatic when all he is really saying is that Wandy needs a win. Hell, even Wandy agrees.

The only thing wrong with the judging in Liddell/Silva was the 2 judges who scored it 30-27. Liddell did win that fight 29-28, rather convincingly imo

The commentary manipulates many peoples thoughts on a fight just look at some of the posts that people put here. I find it funny that people have to sometimes lean on Rogan or Goldberg for an impression of a fight.

I remember Florian saying what th epros and cons are for the GSP vs. Sera II fight were and I totally disagreed and said what I think GSP should do to my table mates. They thought I was talkin out my ass because Florian was a professional fighter and I haven't fought for almost ten years. But low and behold Kenny was wrong and GSP initiated a plan that I called for to exploit Seras weaknesses and employ GSP strengths.

That said some people are just mindless.

I don't think a warning needed to be issued I think Wandy knows that this fight means and I am sure he understands what will happen if he losses

Not sure if losing a hard fought decision to the most dominant 205 in UFC history and to the guy who beat him last year is grounds for dismissal. Just like Hendo losing to Jackson and Silva in his first two UFC fights.

Part of me makes me wonder if Dana is just smiling inside at the idea of two of the big faces of his former competitor failing in UFC?

I think you guys are reading way too into this, Wandy isn't going anywhere if he loses. As for Dana loving this, there was an article like a month ago talking about how Wandy and Dana have become BFFs since Wandy signed. This whole topic feels like mountains out of mole hills to me
