Not every fight on a card has to be perfectly even, and frankly if I were the promoter I would be showcasing Lil Nog too.
Whatever, I guess thats your opinion. He fought Chuck four years ago and has lost to Matt Horwich, Mike Whitehead, Bobby Southworth, Marcelo Tigre, and Victor Valimaki since then. Having a great name back in the day is irrelevant now, if it was, he would be fighting Ken Shamrock in the Fight of the Century or some crap like that. You can say what you want, but he will come out and get his ass kicked. And yeah, I would rather see a guy not fight, than fight a guy I already know the outcome to. You don't need to put every good fighter you have on your card....unless you think you may have only one card.

I feel ya though, I've got friends like you... that have to get their wives permission to go out.
*I read this twice, and each time it made less and less sense.

1. I was responding to what Dimson/thecoylewis posted about Fedor's marketability.

2. I know it's MMA?

3. I said I was curious what the fighters were going to be paid - I think a lot of people are considering all the names involved, top to bottom. Each of those marquee names are worth something. I don't think it's a stretch to assume it might be the most expensive card in MMA history, and that's...Worth mentioning? Since it's a message board? You know? Where...People...Mention. Things.

4. I'm glad you have friends...? :headscratch:

I see, I thought you were just rambling some incoherent crap, having nothing to do with the thread.

I try not to follow numbers and marketability, I did for a while and really found the sport to be much less enjoyable so I try to stay away from talking about marketability and just stay focused on who's fighting and when.

The most expensive card in MMA history? Nah, that's the last Chuck vs Tito or the last Chuck vs Randy. It may very well be the most expensive NON UFC card in the history of MMA. Is that worth mentioning? I'm not sure.

I think it's one of the best fight cards in MMA history, that's worth mentioning...

But marketability, really? who cares.
