You are right, there is nothing in it for UFC because if Chuck loses, the wholw UFC's lhw division lose its credibility. I already explained why UFC would not want Chuck to fight guys at Pride, so I don't know why I have to keep repeating this.

Well, Pride used to promote UFC during their events. They let Randy do the commentary one time and they were promoting UFC events. And based on the interviews, it certainly seems like Pride is willing to do fights but UFC is just having none of it.

As a fan, why the hell would you not wanna see chuck fight guys in Pride? Pride has better fighters and competition. If you're gonna talk from Dana's perspective, don't even bother posting here. We all know what Dana is thinking and there is no need for you to explain it.

You have multiple posts on this thread talking about what YOU think Dana's motivations are. How is that different than what I did? Maybe because I don't agree with you OH GREAT ONE?

Of course I want the best match ups. The difference is that you seem to think that you are the center of the universe, while I realize I'm not.

Lastly, I posted here because I'm sick of your negative self-centered unreasonable posts. You think that if you repeat yourself enough, that makes your opinion true. NO, it's just your opinion. Sakakibara already stated after Dana started running his shit about the Silva Cro Cop fight that Pride would just send Cro Cop to fight Chuck. Silva got dominated by Cro Cop, big deal, name a fighter Cro Cop has not dominated? Only 1 and that's Fedor. Are you saying that Chuck is on Cro Cop's level? That's assinine, Silva would still dominate Chuck, the Cro Cop fight exposed no weaknesses that Chuck would capitalize on. Chuck does not have left low, mid and high kicks like Cro Cop and does not have a straight left like Cro Cop.

You're actually comparing Cro Cop and Chcuk but what similarities do they posess? NONE so it's a ridiculous comparison.

So after the OWGP tournament CroCop's bandwagon is offically full, huh? lol.

Cro Cop has probably been the best fighter this past year and is probably the best in the sport right now. He'd probably beat Chuck, yeah, but he has a good shot at beating Fedor too. And that's not even the dream match anyway.

As far as UFC protecting their champions...it doesn't happen. How is getting Matt Hughes to fight BJ Penn, a guy that beat him, protecting him? Rich Franklin fighting Anderson, a deadly striker. Sylvia with an immediate rematch with Arlovski, Liddell with 2 fights against Babalu and Couture (One of the greatest of all time). Is it not Pride who have title defenses only once or twice a year? How come when Arona beat Silva the title wasn't on the line? How come when Henderson lost the title wasn't on the line?

I'm not saying Pride does it, but that argument swings just as far towards Pride as it does UFC.
