Kenflo never impressed against bunch of crappy opponents and he's gonna get killed by Sherk. I haven't seen Sherk as a LH so i cant say anything but Sherk was a good fighter at WW and I have a feeling he can take out kenflo with ease.
But at the end, it will be Sherk, Pulver, Guillard (spelling?) competing for the title. |
i do see guillard champ in the future he trains with tito now............ so his ground game should be better because he is a very aggressive striker and i would like to see pulver vs guillard

As for Pulver the UFC really messed up there. They should of given him an immediate title shot to get his title back. Now he has a big upset loss to Lauzon and has to build his way back up. I know alot of the newer UFC fans aren't familiar with Jens, and they wanted to build him up a little, but now he has to start out from the bottom. It will be interesting to see who they set him up with next.
I know most people aren't really pleased with this title fight, but UFC has to establish their LW rankings somehow. Lets get this fight out of the way then we'll have someone we can call champ and take it from there.

Kenflo is the only guy comin off wins at the time, and Sherk is more deserving then anyone in the LW division

| Dana "Don King" White??
I am guessing Dana wants to be ble to control his fighters?? To contain the bad press that goes along with hearing that BJ Penn, Tito and Jens left to because of contract disputes!! I understand Zuffa put up sum money to buy the whole concept ... but damn ... these guys are not sharing in any of the profits ... fighter payout on the last PPV w/ Liddell v Babalu was $405k 7 $250k went to Liddell??? Zuffa made $3 mil from the live gate & another $7 mil or so from the PPV .... Why wouldn't Dana want to "give" the title to someone that would be grateful ... Hermes Franca, Jens ( he got caught by J-Lau ) BJ Penn ( if he were to cut wieght ) ... I do not understand Kenny as much as I do Sean .... as long as Dana does nto get hair extensions & start using a thesaurus to make an announcement I will continue to pay mu $39.95 per month |

It would have really created a sense of importance for the title and it could have been spread out over the course of a few UFC events to let it get the proper Dana White & Co. hype!

A 4, 6, or 8 person tournament would have been the best way to decide the belt.
I think Dana's still crying over Pulver losing to a no-name in 40 seconds... Don't know how that's going to affect TUF 5 -is he still coaching?
