I think Dana's still crying over Pulver losing to a no-name in 40 seconds... Don't know how that's going to affect TUF 5 -is he still coaching?
Dana will give Pulver a title within a couple of fights. Someone like Pulver doesn't have to work his way up from bottom. He is already better than Kenflo and he's up there in the rankings no matter what.

They'll prolly give him a fight against a decent guy and if he wins, he will be a contender. And Pulver has the talent to beat anyone out there. He looked really hyper in UFC 63 and may not have been focusing. In any case, he got knocked out but he'll be back at the top in no time.

I am going to take a guess that you are pretty new to mma. Jens Pulver is a legit title contender. Yeah he got caught but there isn't a fighter out there that hasn't. Pulver has fought a who's who of mma fighters. He has already proven he is a top 7 lw in the world. If he hadn't been out of action for the past couple years he would prob be top 5 in the world.

Pulver V. Sherk is what it should have been but like other posters said it is a marketing ploy right now. Lil' evil will be up there.

A tourney would have been best but i guess we will take what they give us.

No Doubt Yeves should have been just handed the title, Kenflo Nor sherk deserve it. Yeves Bleed Like a Stuck pig in his last bout, and was asked if he wanted to give it up his reply "Hell No" thats the mark of a Champion

In his last 4 fights Yves is 1-3, yeah, that's the mark of a champion. Explain why Sherk doesn't deserve it.

The LW division is way too open to just "give" pulver an immediate shot. Guillard is looking good even though he's not fighting top contenders. Too many out there that are doing good to just ignore them and throw Pulver in the next shot. Pulver needs a win over a top name up and comer before he gets his shot at the belt.

The light weight division is incredible now. I just hope BJ doesn't continue to drop the ball and disappoint, because he'd be awesome at 155. Guillard I think will become a huge star because of Ortiz. Finally, I think Ken-Flo will defeat the Muscle Shark. I'm getting tired of these all muscle morons that think they can beat everyone. I hope Ken cuts him up with an elbow. Ohh, and I think at UFC 64 Joe "Big Daddy" is fighting. I hope he wins. That will set some serious shizzznit up!!

Even though Pulver never lost his belt, I disagree that he should have been given an immediate title fight. BJ was in the same boat and he wasn't given one. He only got it because of GSPs injury. When they walk away from the UFC then they shouldn't get to waltz back in and get an immediate shot at the title, but they shouldn't have to start at the bottom either. That just makes for boring fights.

I like the tournament idea. Spread it out over multiple PPVs similar to UFCs 18, 19, 20 for the heavyweight belt.

I have heard Dana say more than once that he doesn't like the tournaments. I can speculate as to why, but has anyone heard him give an explanation?
