Royce Gracie pulling hair like a bitch
 

I was watching the ufc unleashed Gracie special.In the fight with Kimo hes pulling his hair like a girl would.Then in another fight he broke that guys arm.Even after he tapped.I never was a big fan of Gracie.He might have brought bjj into mma but I believe if other people knew about this style of fighting.He would not have done so well.

I will not flame you, but gently point out that "pulling hair" was not outlawed in the early UFC's. It was a legal tatic.

There were no weight classes back then, so you do what you have to when you're outweighed by almost 100lbs.


What do you think about the fighter punching the other guy in the nuts repeatedly back in the first UFCs? Does that upset you too?

he did what he had to do to win.

Wow, lets put a guy the size of Kimo on top of you and see what you do just to surive, forget acctually winning the fight.

When your in the ring with this shreaded monster of a man(appearance wise)who out weighs you by like 100 pounds you gotta do what you gotta do.He wasn't breaking any rules at the time so I see nothing wrong with it.I personally wouldn't pull someones hair ,b/c I'm sure my friends would give me a bunch of crap for it.

I am going to assume that you have not watched any of the early UFC's. If you had you would have seen that the fight before that Royce had shamrock in a RNC and Shammy tapped but when royce let go Shammy started to fight again. He was just making sure that didn't happen again.

besides that noone knew what the hell BJJ was so anyone knowing is a moot point. then you have the fact that he was outweighed by about 100 lbs. Royce is a legend and pioneer. I wouldn't ever say anything bad about him as a fighter.

Different set of rules then and anything went. Keith Hackney basically turned a guy into a eunich hitting him in the nuts as storm alluded to.

Get some mma history lessons before you post some thing like that.
