That's all. | It was an awesome fight, but Lawler vs. Smith was an awesome fight too. I don't see the need to be a douche about it.

Note to the NJSAC, Maeda's eye is a real life example of a valid stoppage.

Only way is to adopt an instant replay system and get each sanctioning body to be consistent. That would solve most of the early stoppages but there will always be glitches in the system.
What I'm dreading is when a former or current MMA ref is found to have gambled on fights he's reffed.
It's likely to happen at some point and those anti MMA bastards are going to have a field day with it.
I just hope the sport is well established if and when it does come up so we can nip it quickly.

Easily fight of the year so far for me. Torres pushed the pace for damn near the entire fight, and that's crazy.

Far better than anything EXC gave us. Far better. | that is what attracted me to him as well... that dude is doing everything he can every second of the match to make sure you know you are in a fight and you are getting beat up.... all the little things he did that rarley ne1 uses now adays he was fighting like it was the fight of his life and if he brings that to every fight it would be scary to face him... his gaurd was very good too.. very active fluid relaxed this guy is the real deal
it also was a legit stop in my opinion too because if that had gone on Maeda might not have been able to see for a long time.. his face was gruesome

Great fight, better than any on Elite the night before. Shame it had to end early, but you can't blame the doctor. It looked like there was no eye at all under the swelling.
