Completely disagree with you, the stoppage of the Smith/Lawler fight was the MOST disappointing part of the night. I was really digging that fight and it was the first thing that was going "right" for the show. I don't think anyone should be trashing Elite XC or Gary shaw over the decision because it was out of his/their hands. Gary did the right thing in giving their bonuses.

WTF that was a great fight until the stoppage....ruined the whole fight for me.I think that shit was fixed...fuck the WEC,Dana had something to do with this,he is a douche.  | |

Def top five of the year fight. Torres is becoming one of my favorite fighters. His Darce choke is just disgusting and the best in MMA.

Miguel Torres is a fucking MONSTER. If Torres stared at you long enough, he could probably kill you.
That was easily one of the best fights I've seen in my life! The WEC HAS to throw up some $$ and get some more of the lighter guys from Japan in the WEC cause right now outside of Maeda, who's gonna be a real fight for Torres? The kid looks fucking unstoppable.

This was an amazing fight, that I am sure Zuffa will build up for a rematch within the next couple of years. In any other WEC weight class, Maeda would get a rematch within the year, but given the strength and depth in the 135 division (Bowles, Galvao, Beebe, possibly Rahya), I am sure he will have to truly earn it.

awesome mma fight. i was truly rooting for maeda. rematch is a must. i say do it right away, fuck having torres defend against someone else. rematch needs to happen asap while its still in people's mind. wec could honestly use that fight to headline a ppv and build it as the biggest rematch in wec history or something alot like how they built pulver/faber which wasnt a bad fight either. i was very pleased w/ the whole card. way better than exc.
