|  whats wrong with the ufc veterans
yves edwards,jens pulver,frank mir.whats wrong with these guys mir comes back gets dominated fights again and almost gets beat by dan christionson yves has lost both of his fights since his comeback and pulver gets ko'd.these guys are expected to win and blow past everybody,whats up with these guys?

Pulver got caught and im still iffy about that ref stoppage
Yves has been on the bad side of luck, first fight he gets caught, 2nd fight he gets cut
Mir is just not that good

You can't count on anything going according to plan. One wrong move, or one lucky punch and it's lights out. Maybe these fighters aren't taking their opponents too seriously. They might believe their own hype a little too much.
It does sucks when you are looking forward to a comeback match and the guy gets rocked, but the excitement it adds when an underdog pulls it out is awesome.
When Mir lost, that really sucked. He didn't even get started in that match. Mir should have been fighting the Champ by now if things went his way. I hope he can give Vera his first loss. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Vera, but he can afford to loose a fight more than Mir, and I want to see Mir succeed.

Here is what happened
Mir- came in out of shape, maybe not motivated enough I don't know.
Jens got caught. Plain and simple it could happen to anyone.
Yves fought a strong wrestler and he is a standup guy. Got cut and still put on a helluva fight. and he also got caught. like i said before it can happen to anyone.
Mir unless he starts taking it serious again I don't expect to see much out of him but Jens and Yves are top tier fighters. Regardless of their recent losses.

Mir was way out of shape when it came to the Christonson fight. did anyone see Dana's face when Mir stepped on the scale before that fight? CLASSIC! yeah i like Vera too, but i'll be pulling for Mir. if he doesn't come in good shape, then Vera is going to win...no question!
Jens got caught...underestimated his opponent and that always fucks someones chances of winning a fight up. if he loses again then we can worry.
Yves...just bad luck. cuts are always shitty ways to lose fights. Swick is lucky Loiseau didn't cut him in the third...anyways Yves was still coming as strong as ever, but there was no way they couldn't stop that fight after all that blood.
i have faith these guys will be back!

Pulver just got caught.He's has more than one KO loss on his record.
Yves-I agree with everyone else with the bad luck thing.He made a mistake and got caught in the Hominick fight and I think he would've won the Stevenson fight had the ref not stopped the fight ,b/c of the cut.
Mir-Is a great fighter when he applys himself.When he doesn't ,than we see fights like Mir/Freeman and Mir/Cruz.

Mir was just not prepared and he lost to a chump. i really hope he comes in shape for the Vera fight. if he does it could actually be the fight of the night, it has the potential for it! but it all depends on Mir cuz we know if Vera beats Mir, he is getting a title shot without question.

Cruz isn't a chump ArMnHC.I see lots of potential out of him.He has great bjj skills and his stand up is improving.If Cruz applies himself I could see him being a force to be reckoned with.

if he comes back and wins another fight, against someone in the HW division who doesn't suck (like a Fabiano Sherner or something), then i will retract that statement about him being a chump. killer and afro, you guys have my word! lol
