Tokyo's bad boy is at 30

Default Ken-Tito...Why?

Let me start of by saying that I will be watching this fight...it's free. I ordered the PPV Ken/Tito2 and saw Ken get annihilated by Tito, I personally don't feel it was an early stoppage, but regardless if it was or not, why are they fighting again? Their have been COUNTLESS early/questionable stoppages, why does Ken get a 3rd match (he lost 2) It would be one thing if it was 1-1 or something, but its obvious Ken can't handle Tito. I know it's free, but the thing that upsets me is I would rather see Tito fight someone else, or for that matter watch ken get beat by someone else. Anyone else think this is a pointless fight?

it's all about the dollar.... Ken vs. Tito is a great main event for a UFN. They're both pretty well known, so that means big ratings, more money, more exposure for the UFC.

I agree its a pointless fight, that fact that it is free makes me very interested in it though. I am a huge Tito fan, and I think Ken is overrated. But the fact is Ken has been in the ring many a time and is capable of knocking anyone out at the right time.

I think it's just because so many people felt ripped off because they paid the $40 and didn't get much of a fight or thought it was stopped too early. They had to have taken a lot of heat on this one. A lot of people who watch TUF were really amped over that fight.

It's rare, but I think this being a freebee is for the fans.

Tokyo, since you didn't think it was stopped early, then this one isn't for you. At least if Ken gets dominated by Tito again the people who did feel that way won't really have anything to bitch about. Ken won't either.

Ken deserves this fight. He's a HOF and this is supposedly his last fight ,so at least let him go out fighting the man he truly despises.Plus Ken/Tito II was definitely a premature stoppage.A couple elbows to the face isn't a reason to stop a fight ,especially when it's someone like ken in the ring ,who can take some punishment.Ken will probably lose again ,but I'm still looking forward to this fight. It's one of the biggest rivalries in mma and it's on free TV.This is a win ,win situation.

exactly. I suspect that a lot of people bought the ppv because of watching TUF 3 and getting caught up in the whole Tito/Ken hype. The event itself was more geared towards TUF fans simply because every fight that was on the live card, other than the main event (A.A/Timmy and Tito and Ken were on the show), had a former TUF fighter. And the main event was 5 rounds of boredom. The fact that Dana is putting this on cable is even more indicative that he thought too many people were "ripped off". I dont know how much money they get from the live gate for Ultimate Fight Nights but I wouldnt be surprised if it didnt even cover the payout (win or lose) for both Tito and Ken. Both Kendal and Ed are fighting so thats another automatic 12 k each (because of their contracts) with another possible 12k if they win. So together they could get a payout of 48k. Add in all the other fighters, even if they only get 2k each and 2k to win, and you have a fairly pricey event thats being shown for free.

you can't really complain about a free fight, it not like someone will force you to watch...

some of those haven't even happened yet, but if they did it'd be sweet! w/o a doubt Chuck/Tito III will happen if Tito wins. Ken and Tito has no business being a 3 series on the simple fact that Tito won both fights decisively. the only people who feel that it was a premature stoppage either 1. Despise Tito (killerinstinct LOL) and 2. Who felt it necessary to see Shamrock's career not only end in the fight, but his life as well. it's a real shame. i wanted to see Tito whoop his ass more then anybody, but not kill the guy! if you watch the fight again, Tito was right, Ken's legs went limp and he was out after that first elbow to his dome. much like Robbie Lawler/Diaz and Randelman/Liddell, Ken came too right away. given Tito like 5 more shots and Ken could have been seriously messed up. but im not complaining about the thrid fight cuz it's on FREE, yes FREE television and i will be watching hehe
