[Submission Fighter]

This is my first time posting, and I dont know if I post this here or if anyone else has posted this already. If its in the wrong place, feel free to move it. And if it has been posted before, feel free to merge it.

Personally, I'm really anxious for this event. I can't recall a time where I've wanted to see an event as much as I want to see this one. I'm going to it live.

My predictions:

Fedor Emelianenko vs. Tim Sylvia. I pick Fedor over Sylvia via TKO or KO in Rd 2.

Ben Rothwell vs. Andre Arlovski. I pick Arlovski over Rothwell via KO in Rd 3.

Josh Barnett vs. Pedro Rizzo. I pick Barnett over Rizzo via armbar in Rd 1.

Aleksander Emelianenko vs. Paul Buentello. I pick Aleksander over Buentello via Kimura in Rd. 3

Matt Lindland vs. Fabio Negao. I pick Lindland over Negao via guillotine in Rd. 2.

Renato Sobral vs. Mike Whitehead. I pick Babalu over Whitehead via Split Decision.

Savant Young vs. Mark Hominick. I pick Hominick via RNC in Rd. 2

Brett Cooper vs. Mike Pyle. Decision

Ray Lamaza vs. Justin Levens. Decision

JJ Ambrose vs. Patrick Speight. Decision

Im up for Sig/Av bets too and would like to hear your predictions.

Dang dude, I can tell you're really excited for this event to create this thread a month before the event. In any case, I can tell you I am also very excited about this event. They can make the rest of card garbage but I would still love it for Fedor-Sylvia.

This card is pretty stacked with huge names, i hope barnett gets past rizzo so he can fight fedor. i still believe till this day barnett can tool randy couture.... barnett just does every randy does but better and younger.

I just bought the tickets online.
I've always thought Barnett is WAY better than Randy any day and I dont think he can get passed Fedor.

Liar, this isn't your first time posting, you have had 40+ posts before this Feel free to be excited, this is one stacked event. Nothing wrong with a little random discussion once in a while, just don't over do it (i.e. doing it for every event).

Anywho, nice predictions minus the two above.

No way is Fedor going to TKO or KO Sylvia. Fedor lacks the power to KO Sylvia and Sylvia has been hit right on the button by Arlovski (twice) and not gone down for the count. I do see Fedor winning, but via submission.

Also, I see Babalu finishing Whitehead in the 2nd via sub as well.



I will say this... seeing Arlovski and Sylvia in the ring is going to be interesting, just used to seeing them in the cage lol.

I don't like this pick - only because I don't see Aleksander getting approval to fight here stateside. Somewhere I read he wasn't allowed to come to the states for some reason. If I am wrong, then I like the pick, but yeah not sure how he is going to get a Visa to come here

Obviously this card is going to be huge, just hope nobody gets injured, and that they show Rogerio's fight on either the teaser or the PPV

i meant my first time posting a thread, and yea smoogy ive been loyal to this site for over 2 years. never posted though. As far as i know, Aleks is going to fight.

And I think Fedor is just going to get better as time progresses cuz he's going to get more opponents who have seen fight so they can prepare but he'll still be one step ahead.
