The only thing I could think of that deserves this hype is the signing of Floyd May.

Anything else is BS. New TV deal? I don't care... I'll just watch spike!

I think it's that Lesnar's old boss vince mcmahon and dana white purchased the UFC. Also, I think that since mcmahon has connections in New York, there will be a fight there in the winter. Call me crazy, but i think it's true. Why else would Lesnar be there?

It's going to take much more than mcmahon's connections to get MMA fully legal in NY by winter.

Five Ounces of Pain | UFC’s CNBC announcement likely to be merchandising deal with JAKKS Pacific

Five Ounces of Pain is reporting the announcement on CNBC will be a business partnership with Jakks, a toy company that will produce a UFC line of toys. This shouldn't be considered Thursday's announcment.

Brock Lesnar is likely there because he will be one of the fighters to have their own toy and because of his popularity from his WWE days. He had his own toy before so it's not new to him.

damn. i'm watching CNBC and when they mentioned the interview for later, and mentioned the UFC, most of the clips they showed were of tank Abbott and other OLD ASS UFC fights! wtf? they're just trying to mock the sport. they even said the president of this new "sport" would be in the studio.

Because the Governator lifted the same sex marriage ban in Cali and Dana and Brock are now free to pursue a life of love together.

Regarding Bobby Lashley.... he just signed a 2 fight deal with the AFL.

Anyways I guess we will know what this big announcement is by the end of the day.
