TAMPA - Tito Ortiz awoke last week at 5 a.m. to board a flight from Fort Lauderdale to Tampa for a slew of promotional appearances.

Instead of flying on a luxurious private plane, he and some friends got to the airport early so they could be a part of the "A" seating on Southwest Airlines. Instead of lunch at The Capital Grille or Donatello, he scarfed down ribs at The Press Box.

Humbleness is not what you expect from a guy who has become an international star due to his success in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, better known as the UFC. He has appeared in the Jet Li movie "Cradle 2 The Grave," plus had acting roles in "Venice Underground," "The Crow: Wicked Prayer," "Valley of the Wolves" and "The Dog Problem."

And Ortiz has been dating porn star Jenna Jameson for the past three months.

I know ur just posting an article but Tito a man of the people??? haha makes me want to puke lol. I was in another thread and supposedly he said that Ken "thinks" that he is a legend. That's Tito showing his class once again.

yeah I thought the title was pretty funny myself. Tito is probably one of the most hated fighters in the UFC, but still one of the biggest draws.

Yeah its that cockier than hell disrespectful attitude that gets good buy rates since ppl want to see his big head pounded in. I think we'll get to see Liddell take care of that again this December haha.

I like Tito, he seems like a pretty good guy. I know that he has done alot for matt hamil and his mom and seems like a normal dude and cares about the sport. But he does say some shit thats awkward. He does not know how to show his opponent respect. Didnt he also say somthing about being the first person to kill a guy in the ring...wtf is that
