| More Weight Classes
With all of these rumors going around my creative juices got flowing and got me into thinking, what about more weight classes? the one that sticks out most to me is a 195 pound class. i see guys in there like Franklin, Rashad, Hendo, marquard, Maybe even Thiago Silva. Any thoughts on fighters and matchups at this weight? or another class? maybe 220?

They could separate the Heavyweight Class from 206-250, and 251-300. I doubt that will happen and is unnecessary.

We don't need any more weight classes right now. There simply isn't enough talent right now to warrant breaking up any fo the weight classes into smaller ones.
I could see a justification for splitting up HW since it is so big, but especially right now HW is abysmally thin

I would HATE to see a 195 division. This wouldn't add anything other than having the bigger 185 guys get to fight the smaller 205/225 guys. Even then I don't think it would be that great.

I think the weight classes are fine but I don't understand why EliteXC has the LW's at 160 but WW 170 and MW 185 but why 160 for LW? 160 to 155 is not a huge drop so I guess my questioning might not matter.

Thats the same reason EXC suddenly changed their womens division to 145, because Gina was having too much trouble making 140 and keeps missing weight.

Forget this so called beef with Diaz and Noon that's not about fight anyway and it just makes MMA look stupid with this kind of antics.

I don't want this to turn into boxing where there are 500 weight classes. I think it's fine where it is.
Mind you, I'd prefer more non weightclass fights.
